Every time you ask his grandpa how he's doing he replies with, "oh plugging along" and that's exactly what i'm doing. I get to go to yet another stomach specialist today. Hopefully this will be the man that can cure me! Trying to stay positive and stop throwing up haha. Loving being in my new house. It's finally starting to come together and look like me. I just finished Parker's bathroom. It's teal black and white. Those are manly colors right? He likes it but he says he could have done without the cute little flower boquet i made but ummm it's adorable.

Reason for Everything....

As most everyone knows, I had a major stomach surgery in Nov. of 2007. It's called a Nissen Fundoplication and they wrapped my stomach around my esophogas. After the surgery the dr instructed me to stop taking antacids. Recently started having really wierd symptoms (throwing up blood, stomach pain, etc) One night the pain was so bad i literally just curled up in a ball and cried. Next morning i went to Urgent Care. I was informed that the dr made a big mistake by taking me off of antacids because the acid had just sat in my stomach and has eaten away all of my stomach lining and it is now covered with ulcers. I've been put on rounds of different medications and tests and blah blah blah. Funny thing is that the syptoms to most of the meds were stomach pain and sensitivity to light. I was like, ummm I already have both of those, anything to help the problem? It's been incredibly frustrating to have to go through as many surgeries and procedures as i have to fix this, only to find out something's wrong again. All I know is that, for whatever reason, my health was chosen to be one of my major trials in life and I've got to be strong. Although it's easy to feel sorry for myself I try to remember that I have it way better than most. Hopefully some day my body will figure out that i'm only 21 and stop all this!!

New house, new puppies, new everythin

That's right after months of HE** we are finally moved in and settled. Quite frankly, I just don't know how to use this thing. How do you even find people? Well, we get to go sign the papers for our new house on Monday. It's been a huge struggle. We were supposed to have closed on the house over two months ago. They've been stringing us along and pushing the date back every week. We have been living in my parent's basement waiting for this day to come. Although the living conditions have not been optimal, and at times down right frustrating, we are very thankful that there has always been a roof over our heads. We are thankful to my parents for letting us live with them and putting up with our messes. I can't believe that we finally get to move in. It is the perfect humble little home for us. We no longer have the puppy corky. No one liked her :( Haha the real reason for her departure was because of how long it took for the house to close. I bought her thinking that the house was closing and kept her at my parents house. When the date kept being pushed back, I knew I couldn't just leave her at my mom and dad"s. BUUUTT we have a new member of the family now that the move is official. His name is Atlas and he is a huge american bulldog puppy. He will grow to be about 120 pounds. I don't know how it's going to work because I'm afraid of big dogs, but he's a sweetie. He loves me the most :) He always snuggles up in my arms like a baby. Everything is finally fitting into place. We didn't know why we were going through the trials that we were, but with faith and endurance comes many blessings. Everything is truly amazing right now and we are so blessed.

All Growed Up!

That's right, I feel like it has officially happened. I am all growed up. I am married, finished with school, and have a career. I am old :) I got a job about two months ago at a little place called Simple Cure Massage (come see me). I am really enjoying it there. Everything's going great. Parker Parker is still at U of P. I think he still like it hehe. I FINALLY GOT A PUPPY! She is just the cutest little thing. Good thing too, cuz she makes a mess of everything. If she wasn't so gosh darn cute I would have punted her a long time ago. I could do it too, she's only four lbs. She's a chorkie (chiuahah/ Yorkie). I wanted to call her chorkie cuz that's cool, but I figured that was not very original, so my intellegent husband suggested CORKY! I will have to post some pictures of her.

So busy....NOT

SOOO, I graduated. It was pretty exciting to be able to let the family meet my new husband. Like always, he fit right in and everybody loved him. He even won the fishing contest! I had kind of an off day, only one little fish for me. I did manage to catch myself quite the sunburn. Unfortunately I was wearing a t-shirt and capris so it looks like a farmer's tan headed my way! We got home around 8:00 last night. Nothing like a shower after a weekend of camping. My poor little husband isn't feeling well now. I love him though, I'm so glad he's part of the Brimhall clan now!

First Blog!!

So! We're starting this blogging stuff. It's just getting too hard now a day to keep up with ya'll! Parker just started a new job at University of Phoenix. He's really liking it there (and I like him coming home early). I am about three weeks into my internship for massage therapy. I believe my last day is july 14th?! I'm starting the job hunting process so everyone keep your eyes and ears open! We've also started the whole looking for a house thing. Good grief and gravy! Just had our year anniverary.
